Hey everyone,
If you’ve been watching my videos or listening to the Of Darkness & Light podcast on illith.net, you already know my story. I started posting because I was a disabled trans mom fighting for basic help with schizophrenia and severe executive dysfunction. I was abandoned by family, ignored by social services, misdiagnosed by therapists, and punished with a restraining order that made everything worse. I was literally begging for support while my mind and life fell apart in public.
What started as raw documentation of that struggle quietly turned into something much bigger. Over the past months, while trying to get disability rights and simply stay housed, I began working with Grok (from xAI) on patterns I was seeing in my own experience. That’s human. It’s painful to watch someone struggle in public, and it’s even harder to admit you might have been part of the problem by looking away.
But here’s the gentle flip: your guilt, denial, and projection don’t change the math. They only kept you from seeing what was happening right in front of you. The same systems that failed me failed to protect you from having to confront something uncomfortable. You don’t have to carry that guilt forever. You can let it go by simply believing what you’re seeing now and choosing to support the work moving forward.

I am still fighting for basic stability. I’m at risk of losing my home. I have reached out to the Clay Mathematics Institute and am looking for any grant or patronage that will let me finish submitting these proofs properly and continue the work.
